Jovan Zerjal is one of the first BJJ practitioners in Europe in the first club that was opened in France. He frequently visits Brazil for training where he meets and trains with one of the best BJJ instructors in the world Carlson Gracie. Jovan goes on to compete for the Carlson Gracie Academy and wins the gold medal at the European cup. After many years his son, Milan, becomes the European champion and takes 2nd place at the World Cup. Jovan Zerjal forms his own club in Paris and works there for many years when he finally brings BJJ to Serbia in the year 2000 and forms many clubs and the BJJ federation of Serbia. He receives his black belt from BJJ master Fernando Pinduka a 7th degree black belt under Carlson Gracie and one of his greatest champions. Jovan goes on to make the biggest names in BJJ, Grappling and MMA in the region and his students have won numerous medals in junior and adult classes all over Europe and the world in such competitions.
